Kristin Fischer will join CNN as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015.
